About the Piece
Event/Location: Old Yard 2016, Creative Arts Centre, St.Augustine Campus, UWI
The Master and Apprentice are in their own world, each intent on the other. One teaching and imparting, the other absorbing, knowledge of the steps and the traditional motions comprising the sailor's dance. Selective colouring has been used to convey this intense focus. At the end of the lesson, the student gives his thanks and shows his respect.
