This painting looks at the destruction of heritage buildings, and residences as a result of increasing commercialisation of an existing community in Trinidad. Featured are bulldozers, parts of a house, broken fences representing the broken community. References in the form of newspaper articles are included in the background to highlight if heritage buildings mean anything to us as well as in another article: the government's desire to expand commercially. The painting highlights the experiences of some residents
