Nostalgia

Returning four months ago to Grand Chemin Moruga beach, a wave of nostalgia swept over me. The mid
day sun shone from blue skies and whispy clouds hovered over the outcrops in the distance. It was low tide and the children ran, fished and did cartwheels on the beach by the river. Sounds of laughter floated on the wind. The driftwood at the edge of the water spoke of past times.

The Moruga beach is also a historical landmark where Christopher Columbus Landed in 1498. I decided to capture these moments with my camera, which soon came alive on my canvas.
