Born in 1935 Germany in 1935.
She was introduced to painting at an early age by her father who was also a painter. She studied for three years under a well known South German Artist: Emma Brauer. Ms. Kopf-Johnson also attended the Glasgow School of Art part time, where she studied Design. Her work at that time was mainly Still Life and Portraits. Later she branched out into the Unseen Worlds, where she believes the real life dwells. Her keen spiritual eye (3rd eye) allows her to explore these strange worlds in which she feels at home. For her, these worlds are the real worlds. Her current work is done in light fast acrylic ink on paper.
Krimhilde Kopf-Johnson has been living in Trinidad & Tobago with her husband for the past 50 years.
